Q: Hello, Mr. Wu. I saw your work in the background just now in the background. It's very different from last season. I don't know where your inspiration came from this time.

Wu: this season's inspiration comes from dawn.

I like it so much

Dawn

The feeling gave me a lot of inspiration, and it implied an upward hope.

I blend the colors of the dawn and the back into this season's design.

As you mentioned before, the difference between this season's costumes and last season is very large. There are so many fabrics. I choose dozens of fabrics, and the whole color is rich.

The sense of design will be stronger last season.

However, this season's clothes can be directly put into the market for sale, and the wearability is stronger.

Q: because yesterday when we went shopping with you and the Metropolitan Museum, we found that you are very interested in Chinese culture, so you will draw some content into it.

Design elements

China?

Wu: Yes, China has a history of 5000 years, and there are many elements worth learning.

The clothes I designed still contain the details of China.

Q: but you also showed great interest in the culture of Egypt in the museum. Can you tell me in advance? Will you consider absorbing some other elements, such as the mysterious elements of Babylon?

Wu: actually, I thought about it, but as a Chinese designer, I still feel that China's culture of great spirit is waiting for us Chinese designers to inherit. The road ahead is still long.

Q: we saw a wash shirt just now.

Pink suit

This should be a typical design concept of combining Chinese and Western culture.

Wu: Yes, in fact, Chinese culture has a relatively large industry, relatively large and relaxed.

Q: actually, there are many designers of Chinese origin in the fashion world, but the designers from China are relatively few. I wonder if you have any differences in design concepts with those Chinese designers.

Wu: Maybe my idea is more biased towards China, but for example, entering New York fashion week is a good opportunity to have better communication with international works. In fact, I very much hope that our brand and our works can be pushed to the European and American markets, and that the whole country can be interconnected.
